What to expect:
- You will develop and enhance products using Java, UML, and BPMN.
- You will design and implement distributed applications, leveraging Kafka for data streaming and messaging.
- You will evaluate and refine algorithms for business and technical solutions.
- You will collaborate with team members to ensure the robustness, generalizability, and sustainability of solutions.
- You will contribute to the digital transformation initiatives and understand the broader impact of our applications.
- You will ensure high code quality through unit tests, code reviews, and automated testing.
- You will create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing applications.
- You will stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve your skills and the development process.
What you should bring:
- Completed university degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or a comparable field
- Proficiency in Java, UML, and BPMN
- Strong methodological skills and an inquisitive mindset for solving complex problems
- Solid experience in modeling distributed applications
- Familiarity with Kafka and its application in distributed systems
- Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team of dedicated developers and architects
- Eagerness to engage with new technologies and methodologies
- Interest in the impact of digital applications on society.
